HILARY DUFF TO WRITE YOUNG ADULT NOVELS Wed March 10, 2010 Source www.hollywoodscoop.com Hilary Duff is turning…author? That’s right! She’s decided she wants to start writing nonfiction! The Duffster has reportedly struck a deal with Simon & Schuster to pen a series of young adult books. The first will be called "Elixir," and will feature the worldwide adventures of photojournalist Clea Raymond. It will be released in October. Hil is also planning a nonfiction book about children coping with divorce, scheduled for 2012. Duff has written about her own parents' separation in the songs "Stranger" and "Gypsy Woman." This seems to be the big trend right now—Lauren Conrad already has a successful book series, and both Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are also planning their own.
