LARA BINGLE - SINGLE?

AUSTRALIAN cricketer Michael Clarke and model Lara Bingle have separated, A Current Affair reports.
The pair had been on rocky ground since a nude photo scandal.

The glamour couple, who have been hit hard by the nude photo scandal engulfing Bingle, are at the crossroads, with

The Daily Telegraph reporting that Clarke is "confused and lost" and poised to dump the 22-year-old model.
Clarke flew into Sydney yesterday after he was given indefinite leave from the Australian team's tour of New Zealand and remained holed up with Bingle all day at the couple's $6 million apartment at Bondi Beach.

He is expected to fly back in time for Australia's Test series against the Kiwis next week but wants to resolve his future with Bingle before he returns.
For any cricketer, let alone the Australian vice-captain, to take a mid-tour break is remarkable.

Last night, fashion sources said Bingle confided she was resigned to the likelihood Clarke may ask her to move out.
All Clarke's manager, Chris White, would say was: "Michael has come home to support Lara through this tough time."

Sources close to the Australian vice-captain said he was
increasingly distressed and angry about the spotlight on his life, which has intensified since Bingle paired up with celebrity agent Max Markson.

Clarke's decision to fly home only added to media interest that has boomed since The Daily Telegraph published photos of the couple apparently arguing at the SCG recently.

The 'Russian Roulette' hitmaker reportedly flew back to the US from Berlin, Germany, at the weekend just to attend Matt Kemp's Ante Up for Autism charity fundraiser, where she mingled with his friends and relatives.

A source told E! online: "Matt was happy she came. It was an awesome show of support.
"Rihanna fit right in as if they all knew each other. It was comfortable."

Matt was happy she came. It was an awesome show of support.
The L.A. Dodgers baseball star - whose brother is autistic - recently surprised Rihanna by throwing her a 22nd birthday party.

A source said: "It was so sweet and she was really surprised. She looked just beautiful."
Matt organised Caribbean food to be served to Barbados-born Rihanna and also reportedly bought her a custom-made diamond necklace.

The party was extra-special for Rihanna as she cancelled her 21st birthday celebrations last year in the aftermath of her assault at the hands of then-boyfriend Chris Brown early in February 2009.

The source added: "Matt really wanted to do something nice for Rihanna this year since she didn't have much of a 21st birthday last year.

"It was just her closest friends, good Jamaican food, a photo booth, dancing and a nice cake."

Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am is doing his part to promote the importance of education to his young fans. As successful as he is, will.iam never got the opportunity to attend college.

He grew up poor in Los Angeles himself, but now wants to make a difference for his fans who are in similar situations as he was. After DJing a party at an event, will.i.am decided to create the i.am.scholarship fund, which is helping a few lucky college hopefuls!

He tells People, "I did the math and I could send three kids to school. It's one thing to make it – and you've got your own apartment, or house, or car – and you keep it for you. That's not making it. Making it is spreading it."

Will.i.am hopes that through his fund he can help young people achieve their dreams of making a difference in this world. "You watch the news and you've got Obama talking about our health reform, you got Al Qaeda, you have the economy, and nobody's talking about education," he says. "And that is the scariest, because we could have a nation full of dummies."

The kids are asked to keep a GPA of at least 2.8, and will.i.am has promised to reward their good grades with travel all around the world! What an awesome program!

Hilary Duff is turning…author? That’s right! She’s decided she wants to start writing nonfiction!

The Duffster has reportedly struck a deal with Simon & Schuster to pen a series of young adult books. The first will be called "Elixir," and will feature the worldwide adventures of photojournalist Clea Raymond. It will be released in October.

Hil is also planning a nonfiction book about children coping with divorce, scheduled for 2012. Duff has written about her own parents' separation in the songs "Stranger" and "Gypsy Woman."

This seems to be the big trend right now—Lauren Conrad already has a successful book series, and both Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are also planning their own. Hope Hil can balance this and wedding planning!

LARA BINGLE'S MAN COMES HOME TO SUPPORT HER
Tue March 9, 2010
Source www.dailytelegraph.com.au

VICE-CAPTAIN Michael Clarke has quit Australia's cricket tour of New Zealand and returned to Sydney following the fallout of the nude photo scandal involving his fiancée Lara Bingle.
A spokesman said Clarke had left the team hotel in Hamilton on the eve of today's third one-day international against the Black Caps. The spokesman said it was not known when Clarke would return.

Cricket Australia general manager Michael Brown said: "Michael is attending to personal, non-cricket matters and we ask on his behalf that his privacy be respected.''
He will remain at home for a few days, but hasn't ruled out a return to the tour.

It is believed Clarke had a meeting with captain Ricky Ponting, coach Tim Nielsen and head selector Andrew Hilditch where it was agreed he should take a break from the tour.

Clarke returned to Sydney last night and told The Daily Telegraph: "I will talk to you another time.''

The Daily Telegraph can reveal Clarke flew home to be with Bingle as she deals with the fallout of the Brendan Fevola nude photo scandal.

Bingle has announced she is suing Brisbane Lions AFL forward Brendan Fevola over a nude photo she claims Fevola took without her permission.
Woman's Day last week published the photo of Bingle in the shower.

The photo was allegedly taken while she and Fevola were involved in a secret affair in 2006.
Bingle has opened up in a magazine interview about the release of the photo, saying she has been deeply humiliated.
The model says she is suing the footballer to restore her "dignity and self-respect'' and to show it's "not cool or funny'' to distribute nude photos of anyone.
Bingle describes Clarke as "amazing" and says he has supported her in the "ups and downs that have happened in my life''.

Clarke's departure leaves the Australian one-day squad down to just 12 players, with paceman Clint McKay and allrounder Adam Voges now vying for a place in the side.
A replacement player may be called up from Australia for the final two one-day games in Auckland on Thursday and Wellington on Saturday, a spokesman said.
It's not known if Clarke will return for the two-Test series starting on March 19.
